What Audience Members Are Saying About Losing the Light
The play was really good. I went with my boyfriend and he couldn't stop talking about it. My boyfriend told everyone we saw that weekend about the play. I think Black men need to continue doing more plays like this as well as more black men need to see plays like this. The poem, Losing the Light is really moving. You have to read it a couple of times to really feel what it's saying but it's so deep. Good job. I look forward to more plays from Inneract. Kimberly Harper - Brooklyn, NY |

I thought that the play was excellent. It's wonderful to see young black men discuss issues that we are afraid to discuss, for fear of being to soft or a sissy. Being a you black man sometimes it is very difficult to express my true feelings because I didn't learn how to. Losing the Light has given me hope and a path to learn more about myself and about being expressive. Overall the cast was fantastic and my praise is for John Foster. I remember him at Virginia State University and I thought that he was destined for greatness. Keep up the good work. Aaron Watford - Brooklyn, NY |

"Losing the Light was an excellent
production which displayed a common issue among African-American men: communication and truth. The play displayed an
in-depth look into male relationships and what impacts Black Men. A must see for Black men
and Women. Bravo!!!" |
